Jammu and Kashmir (J&K, India) is located in the extreme north of India. The capital of this state is Srinagar. The state of Jammu and Kashmir shares its boundaries with the states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab in the south. Certain parts of the state are areas of conflict, between India and Pakistan.
